If you don't mind using the basic pen (which is basically just a stylus), you can snag the 16GB version for only $269.99 (reg. $339.99 for $70 off). You'll have to dish out a bit more for the premium pen: the 16GB version is on sale for $294.99 (reg. $369.99 for $75 off). If you want more storage, the price jumps to either $309.99 for 32GB ($80 off) or $334.99 for 64GB ($85 off). These aren't quite the lowest prices we've seen on these models, but 20% is still a pretty significant discount for the Scribe.

As Mashable's Alex Perry noted in his review, the Kindle Scribe is not a perfect device. However, it does manage to bridge the gap between traditional reading and e-reading by offering a stylus to mark up books to your heart's content. "Regardless of which pen you choose, using it is pretty straightforward. When reading a book, tap or drag to highlight a text passage, then tap “Note,” to leave a hand-written sticky note you can open or close at any time by tapping whatever you had highlighted." Easy peasy.
